During the annual report presentation, Sylvie Deslauriers from Phytoclone presented a short report on The Canadian Nursery Landscape Association (CNLA)'s New Plant Development Committee. She introduced the actual members, describe the origin of the Committee, the mandates and the items on the agenda. Topics like the introduction of the last Canadian Artists series rose, the new hardy rose breeding program on black spot resistance done jointly by the Vineland Research and Innovation Centre (VRIC) and CNLA, the Pan Canadian rose evaluation network and the introduction of a new hardy rose for the Sesquicentennial activities in 2017.
